Chef Dillon

Last night Dillon planed a surprise secret date for me. It was so nice. He told me that we were going out to a really nice restaurant and that I needed to dress up. I met him at his apartment and to my surprise the restaurant was Dillon's Pasta House. It smelled so amazing when I walked in. He had printed out a menu and I got to choose my meal from it. He even borrowed some nice dishes from some girls in his ward. It was so sweet. I ordered penne pasta with a creamy tomato, mushroom, spinach sauce. And he made it all from scratch. It was absolutely delicious and service was speedy too. Italian sodas and coconut cream pie made the meal even better. I am now quite convinced that I am dating one of the best chefs in Provo. I can't wait to see what he makes for me next time...

Bridal Fair

Today I woke up feeling so sick, but Dillon and I had been planning on going to this Bridal Fair at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake with my friend Ali. Dillon was really excited about going so I decided that we should still make the trip. I'm so glad that we did. It was a lot of fun and I feel like I learned a lot. Plus it was really great to get tons of free stuff. Fun, but overwhelming. There is so much that goes into planning a wedding and I feel so underprepared. I'm really anxious to get married and I can't wait to be able to wake up with my best friend everyday, but the planning and stressing-out part of me is kind of glad that we still have almost 6 months to get everything under control. I will admit though that it felt really good to be able to stand up when they asked for all of the brides in the room. I guess it's true that at some level every girl dreams of being a bride someday.

Our New Blog

This is our new blog! We are official. And this is a picture of us from Freshman year. After looking for pictures of us to put on our blog I have realized that I now have a new goal of taking more pictures. Dillon and I have been dating again for over 2 months and we still don't really have any pictures of the two of us. Either we have boring lives that doesn't merit documentation or we are just terrible at taking pictures. Either way I want to improve so we can fill this blog with tons of great pictures.
